And it's got quite a few tricks up its sleeve. The McTiVia can wirelessly bring your Mac screen to your TV (with synchronized audio), remotely operate your Mac from TV with standard USB mouse/keyboard combo, or even be used as a wireless access point.

Because my clunky HDMI cable is not an indoor jump rope!
I would use it to cut free myself from my restrictive digital umbilical cord! So long living room tripping hazard!! The tethered tyranny of the HDMI cable is OVER!

I would use it to stream music from iTunes to my receiver, stream movies using Plex, and of course, just use my TV as a huge monitor.

I'd use it to present various things onto a bigger screen of course, as a router of course, duh, & probably as a "battle ground"/perch fighting arena for my cockatiels (I'd have to chew & poop proof it of course though). :o)

We are saving money by cancelling the cable service, who need it any way in the new Internet era?!, Right now using a HD cable to stream news, movies and pictures from MacBookPro to TV. It will be a completely new experience to have a wireless freedom!!!! And will open new opportunities for using Mac+TV for work, video editing, and who knows what else will look better on the big screen!!! Very looking forward and hopping to get one.

I would primarily use this McTiVia in an educational setting, displaying Keynote and other content (including video clips, etc.) from my MBP to a large HD screen in our church's coffeehouse. This would be ideal for visual learners and youth.

My wife likes to work on her projects while watching Hulu, and since we don't have cable, yet have a large plasma screen given to us, it would be awesome to say the least, to have her be able to stream her shows, and not to mention her video as she teaches her classes to a large screen, simply and easily.

I would love to use this for business - presentations and as a product I can recommend to clients.
I would also love to use it to add even more functionality to my TV than what I already have via Apple TV - such as running Hulu Plus, for starters.

This would be perfect for my college friends and I to always be able to watch a movie on the big screen without having to hook up messy cords...we could hook it up in my dorm room or hook it up to the big tvs or projectors in the common room for some pool and a movie!

I could use this device to evolve my TV viewing habits so that I can pause my viewing on the kitchen LCD when I'm done with my dinner and re-start it in the living room HDTV, just like in the AT&T ads :)

My friends and I love watching movies in our dorm room but we have so much stuff on the computer that we'd like to watch. Unfortunately, all of us crowding around the computer screen doesn't work too well so this would be an awesome gadget for us.

I'd use it to have a giant version of Logic Pro that I could see from across the room ... so I could play guitar and mix audio at the same time!
