For anyone who has suffered through the fits and starts of on-again-off-again functionality of Mobile Me—which actually has .Mac subscribers missing that now-defunct service.—this list is for you. Apple sent an e-mail to me promising a free month of MobileMe service due to the start-up problems (along with plenty of other .mac people), and once my original renewal was due today...instant charge for the whole year with NO mention of a free month. I guess that's what I get for being a 5 year-long customer.
