Steam Charge Your iPod
While unbelievably excessive, YouTube user twdunbar's steam powered iPod charger is incredibly awesome.
Using a Lego Technic connected to a Jensen #75 steam engine via a new fangled piece of technology known as a "rubber band." The Technic motor acts as generator that feeds to voltage regulator that delivers 5V to charge the iPod in the video.
The device will also charge an iPhone though we doubt you'd be able to hear the ringer over all the noise. Check out the video below.
