2.16GHz 17-inch iMac

PRICE: $1,199 base model (2GHz), $1,299 as tested

SPECIFICATIONS: (as tested) 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4MB shared L2 cache, 667MHz frontside bus, 1GB RAM, 160GB Serial ATA hard drive, 8x double-layer SuperDrive, 17-inch LCD (1,440 by 900 native pixel resolution), 128MB ATI Radeon X1600 graphics card, AirPort Extreme, Bluetooth 2.0, Apple Remote
Good bang for the buck. Rosetta speed has improved over previous generation of Intel iMacs.
3GB memory ceiling. Rosetta speed still slower than native PowerPC performance.
