It's only Monday and we already have new iPhone spy pics.
Images of a white next-generation iPhone appeared on Chinese language discussion forum, WeiPhone.com. The images depict a white-backed iPhone with a form factor that fits specs posted by iLounge last week.
Our issue with these pics, unless this a shell of the next iPhone, it doesn't have a cover over the speaker or a dock connector.

The lack of a dock connector, in addition to there being no shots of the front, suggest that they only managed to get pictures of the case.
If you watched House last night, you could see 13 using a white iPhone also. Really doubt it is the new phone.
My mother has the 4 GB iPhone and her iPhone is white because she wanted the white Agent 18 case for the summer. So your probably right it couldn't be the new iPhone.
One thing I cant understand about these rumours is that while Apple aparently has made a move closer to environmently friendly Macs by making them in aluminium rather than plastic, the rumors about the new iPhone state that the new iPhone will ditch the metallic back and replace it with more plastic. Smaller device and less plastic needed per device but it still seems uncoherent to me.

I don't think we'll see the real thing until Apple wants us to. Maybe it will be white, maybe not, but I tend to think the metal look will stay.
