These apps and services will grouped into six different bundles:
Design Standard (InDesign CS3, Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, and Acrobat 8 Professional): $1,199, $240 upgrade
Design Premium (InDesign CS3, Photoshop CS3 Extended, Illustrator CS3, Acrobat 8 Professional, Flash CS3 Professional, and Dreamweaver CS3): $1,799, $440 upgrade
Web Standard (Flash CS3 Professional, Dreamweaver CS3, Fireworks CS3, and Contribute CS3): $999, $399 upgrade
Web Premium (Flash CS3 Professional, Dreamweaver CS3, Fireworks CS3, Contribute CS3, Photoshop CS3 Extended, Illustrator CS3, and Acrobat 8 Professional): $1,599, $340 upgrade
Production Premium - and no, there's no Production Standard (Photoshop CS3 Extended, Illustrator CS3, Flash CS3 Professional, After Effects CS3 Professional, Premier Pro CS3, Soundbooth CS3, and Encore CS3) $1,699, $799 upgrade
Finally, there's also the Master Collection, which includes the whole enchilada (with Photoshop CS3 Extended, not the less-capable Photoshop CS3).
Adobe says that the Design and Web bundles will begin shipping later this month; the Production Premium and and Master Collection will appear in the third quarter of this year.
This is a lot to wrap one's head around, to be sure - but if you only have time to check out one item, we suggest reading up on Device Central, which, according to Adobe, is "designed to radically boost the efficiency and productivity of creative professionals who develop dynamic and engaging interfaces, mobile assets, applications and video content for mobile phones and hand-held consumer electronic devices." A lofty goal, indeed.
Oh, and you should also, of course, take a look at our own in-depth preview of Photoshop CS3.
Adobe is hosting a webcast today at 3:30 EST to discuss these announcements - tune in later this afternoon here on MacLife.com to find out any breaking news.
