Apple TV Delayed Until March
Posted 02/26/2007 at 5:31:21pm | by Mac|Life Staff

According to several online reports, Apple will delay its Apple TV device until mid-March. Steve Jobs had said at the January Mac Expo that Apple TV will ship in February.

"Wrapping up Apple TV is taking a few weeks longer than we projected," Apple spokeswoman Lynn Fox said by email, "and we now expect to begin shipments mid-March."

Apple TV is a $299 device that uses wireless technology to stream your Mac's iTunes library to a TV. Apple TV connects to your TV via HDMI or component video, and receives 802.11n signal transmitted from your Mac (you can also connect your Mac vis Ethernet).
