Army Integrates More Macs and Playstation Emulator for iPhone is Here

Because knowing is half the battle: The U.S. Army is reportedly increasing its use of OS X machines in an effort to lower their exposure to attacks through flaws. More and more Xserves are being seen seen in Army data centers and 20,000 of the Army's 700,000 machines are Apple computers.

PS1 iPhone: The PlayStation 1 emulator for the iPhone and iPod touch is now available. The software is installed on jailbroken devices and utilizes disk images of PlayStation 1 games. Who's ready for some Ridge Racer?

In-flight filters: While we still have very few options when it comes to in-flight Wi-Fi, the airlines are already planning on filtering access to certain protocols. High on that list is VoIP, which eats up tons of bandwidth and most people don't want to hear your conversation about that mole you got removed.

Is Sony that dumb, or are you guys that brilliant of marketers to skank Sony out of serious advertising money? No wonder Sony is going in the pooper....

Ah ha, now that I've found "Leopard on a PC" (try googling)
I finally understand Sony's marketing ploy

Get a "cool" Sony Vaio..and convert it into a Mac.....oh wait Apple just announced the Mac Air....what to do now?

Still, Leopard on an Intel PC does offer an interesting alternative for the cash strapped,

I visit this site every day and it seems like someone always has to make a comment about the Vaio ads on MacLife.

I visited MacWorld.com today and I saw Sony Vaio AND Windows Vista ads.

So yes, dbcoyle, it seems like Sony, etc. are "that dumb." To all the people who complain, perhaps you would rather PAY to read the content on MacLife and MacWorld? No? THEN STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE ADS!

ads are just a greedy way to make a buck. web sites flourished long before people started making money from it. now it's just another money making scam. ad agencies and lawyers should all be banned from the net.
doesn't anyone else resent this intrusion. if i wanted to buy something i would do my own research and make my own decisions, i don't need someone sticking it in my face all the time. what's next: ads that play on your pc while the machine is booting up! hey what a great idea....i mean if we have to stick with 10 minutes of ads on a dvd just to get to the film we already paid for, maybe i'm onto something!!! imagine being bombarded with ads evrytime y ou flushed the toilet. wow, what a great world!!!
