At the end of the month, I'll be doing a big prize drawing from everyone who donates to a project on our Giving Page, and emails me the receipt (susie at maclife dot com). I want to thank MacLife for the DonorsChoose Challenge 2012. I am a second grade teacher who is trying to add technology to her classroom even though education budgets are being slashed. We want students to use the newest technology, but there isn't enough money to grant every teacher's technology wish. That is where Donors Choose comes in. Teachers are able to write any kind of educational project for their students and post it on Donors Choose. If they are lucky, an interested donor reads it and decides to help fund the project.
I was very fortunate this morning because a donor from my state made a donation to our iPad project. I was thrilled! Thank you so much for featuring my project and the projects of other teachers on your giving page.
