If you're like me, you've grown weary of the various traditional holiday celebrations. Battling consumers at the mall to secure a present the recipient will most likely return on December 26, is an exercise in masochism.
Luckily, there is a holiday that understands our frustration with the growing consumerism of traditional holiday celebrations, Festivus.
The holiday that's for the rest of us.

This year we will be honoring the magical holiday created by Dan O'Keefe and made famous during the "The Strike" episode of Seinfeld, by replacing the Mac|Life logo's pipe with a Festivus pole.
In fact, we've already changed the logo.

And here it is with the | replaced by the Festivus pole:
As you can see the aluminum Festivus pole is amazingly similar to the Mac|Life pipe. It's a Festivus miracle. But the difference between the regular pipe and the Festivus pole is instantly recognizable.
Yes fellow Festivus aficionados, while you're taking part in the Feats of Strength and doling out your disappointments during the Airing of Grievances on December 23, you should be secure in the knowledge that Mac|Life is here for you.
