Boxes Of Mystery
Posted 06/06/2008 at 11:43:09am | by Roberto Baldwin

Quanta, the company believed to be the current iPhone manufacturer, is moving quite a few mysterious boxes according to a stakeout report from Forbes' Brian Caulfield. The West Coast Quanta Computer distribution center is bustling with exciting shipping action.

Alongside iMac boxes, are mysterious brown boxes that are being being loaded onto FedEx trucks.

The boxes are brown! Do you know what that means? Yeah, we don't either, but using the Mac|Life Wheel of Rumors we have determined that they're probably full of 3G iPhones, maybe.

In news from the Land Down Under, MacTalk received a photo of a small box with a label affixed to it warning not to open until Tuesday June 10. They speculate it's the 3G iPhone.

At this point, Mac|Life is going to go out on a limb and will make a bold prediction. It's Pippin 2.0! Yeah, you heard that right. Apple is getting back into the gaming market . In fact, those mysterious brown boxes, they're all Pippins.

avatarLook at the address...

The shipping address is Sydney South NSW. I'm pretty sure that would put it somewhere in Australia.

Not neccessarily. Apple Australia has a few Americanisms in its material. Not that I can think of any right now, but you know what I am talking about. Also, the label may have been generated overseas at any rate.

Clutching at iPhonic straws? Not me! ;)

P.S. According to my last Apple invoice, the address matches the one on the label in the pic. Not that that actually means anything one way or the other.

IF ITS COMING FROM APPLE IT WOULD BE COMING FROM THE UNITED STATES AND THE DATE WOULD BE JUST AS IT IS LISTED ON THE PACKAGE...IF IT WERE TRUE...ANYWAY...WHY ARE PEOPLE SO NOT WITH IT MOST OF THE TIME?
