Best Case Scenario -- And Now For Something Completely Different

In this week's Best Case Scenario, we're taking a break from the traditional, put-it-in-your-bag iPad cases and focusing on something completely different. We've got an iPad case with an added hand holster, an elastic band that straps the iPad to your knee, a stylish iPad sleeve for urban hipsters and a special iPad case that can be mounted to your wall.
Handstand

Those shaky rides home on the Metro make it difficult to read anything on the iPad, or hold on to the thing when you're moving about. Fortunately, the HandStand takes care of this slight annoyance, enabling you to hold the iPad in an ergonomic fashion without the fear of dropping it. It's a silicon case with a hand strap mounted to a rotating disc, so you don't have to worry about taking the iPad out of your hand to reposition it. However, the strap will take some time getting used to, as it's a bit tight at first. And because of the case's protruding back, it can be difficult to place your iPad in a tiny bag. ($59.95 | 3.5/5)
MyClip Thigh Kneeboard

This incredibly hokey looking device is actually great for iPad users who love sprawling out in a bed or laying on the couch after a long day at work. And we have to admit: after viewing a few episodes of the Mac|Life show on the iPad with this silly looking contraption, we were totally hooked. While the MyClip Thigh Kneeboard is actually marketed for pilots taking long, trans-atlantic flights, it's also fitting for the dorm room dweller or couch contortionist. ($39.95 | 4/5)
Urban Tool slySkin

We'll admit that the neoprene slySkin from Urban Tools is pretty hip. The tight-fitting sleeve comes in three different colors and is made of organic, waterproof material, and the inside is padded with fluffy velvet material that doubles as a screen cleaner. And while the slySkin is made for the stylish urban dweller, it's doesn't at all compromise function for fashion. (€29.90 | 3.5/5)
And now for something completely different
Mensola Wall Mount for iPad

This is not an iPad case, but rather a wall mount suited for contemporary decorators who need a place to stick their tablet device so that it can display photos and video. It comes with felt pads to protect the iPad from the fixings that secure the mount to the wall, and it's designed by Daniel Newlyn, a furniture designer who specializes in upholstrey. While it doesn't exactly protect your iPad, it is an innovative way to keep your iPad where you can see it. The Mensola Wall Mount is currently only available for sale on eBay. (~£21.49)
