G-Form iPad Extreme Sleeve 2
While I'm not too particularly fond of this color (would you agree it looks like The Thing?), I like that this case is shock absorbing. Yes, children and those prone to tripping over uneven sidewalks should invest in an iPad sleeve that's nice and rugged. My only issue with pouches and sleeves like these, however, is that you eventually have to take the iPad out of its shell.

The technology behind the G-Form is great: the Reactive Protection Technology stiffens and absorbs the impact, so there's a nice block of foam protecting your iPad from bumps, bruises, or a smashed chassis. The sleeve is also big enough to fit an iPad 2 with its SmartCover on. I'd like this case if I was hiking or backpacking with my iPad 2, or just commuting long distances with my tablet buddy. Feeling classy? Sometimes I do, too, so I like to outfit my iPad 2 in a thin, slim leather case such as this. The iPad 2 slides comfortably inside the sleeve, which is lined with soft velvet, and the outside of the case is covered in genuine soft leather with a pull-tab at the bottom.

You can also use this sleeve to place your iPad 2 inside with its SmartCover--double the protection, double the fun! While it's not the ideal iPad case for those who rough and tumble, it's pretty and pristine for a more fashionable tablet. ($59.99 | 3.5/5)

For an artsy-looking case, this Andy Warhol inspired folio from Incase is really very solid. Your iPad 2 stays put within a velvet frame inside the iPad 2 case and offers direct access to all the iPad 2's buttons and ports.

The folio stays closed with an equally fashionable elastic band. And, the Folio folds up into different viewing angles...

...or backwards for typing. Overall, this is a really fantastic case, and not just because it's "haut". $79.95 | 4.5/5)

DodoCase for iPad 2
For the hipsters who want their iPad 2 to match their obsolete Moleskine notebooks (I kid!), the Dodocase is the perfect clone. It's got that solid, leathery Moleskine feel and the folio opens just like it.

The case folds back into a viewing stand as well, though it's not too ideal for watching movies because of how easily it could fall over, though if you're careful you can prop it up for presentations. Regardless, you're probably considering this case for its style, not its function. The cases are handmade in San Francisco the minute you order them, so you've got a story to tell there, too.
