The MacBook Air is sleek, stylish and svelte, but if you're planning on using your new toy on a day-to-day basis you're going to want to make sure that it's covered up. This week's Best Case Scenario features two Air sleeves from Moshi and Speck, and tests out whether Speck or Incipio's shell case is better suited for your tiny little notebook.
Moshi Muse for MacBook Air

The Moshi Muse sleeve is perfectly tailored for the MacBook Air and there are no zippers or velcro to fuss with. Instead, the flap folds over and clasps tight with a small magnet. The sleeve is also made from microfiber, which doubles as a screen cleaner, and the Muse's own thin form factor doesn't compromise the feather-weight of the MacBook Air. There's also a bonus pocket in the front for any cords you might need to tote along. (4.5/5 | $35.00)
Speck PixelSleeve Air 11-inch

This stylish sleeve for your MacBook Air contains a micro-fleece inner layer that cushions on the inside to protect your precious, though the flap has an annoying habit of not folding over all the way. This sleeve is zipper-less and easy to open so you can roll through the TSA without any issues, and it comes in a variety of vibrant colors. (3.5/5 | $34.95)
MacBook Air 11-inch feather Ultralight Hard Shell Case

The Feather measures less than 1mm thin and fits impeccably on the Air's figure, without adding any added weight or bulk. The polymer case feels smooth and has perforated vents on the underside to prevent overheating. We liked this case because of its incredibly slim form-factor and protective covering, but don't count on sticking the Air inside of a sleeve with this thing on. (4/5 | $49.99)
Speck SeeThru SATIN Case for MacBook Air 11-inch

The SeeThru SATIN case's shell design is easy to snap on and has four gripped pivots on the bottom part of the case, though there isn't a vent for air flow. It feels durable when it's on, so if you're using your Air on a day-to-day basis, your computer should be safe from things like ketchup residue and sharp objects. However, the top part of the SATIN case seems to weight down the lid of our MacBook Air, which fell forward when it was in a half-closed position. (3/5 | $49.95)
