The worst part about living in a city is that if you plan on driving anywhere, you'll have to factor in 40 extra minutes to find a spot, successfully parallel park and then walk the three blocks it takes to get to your destination. Fortunately, iOS apps are good for this, and while you shouldn't be using your phone while you're driving, you could always double park, take a deep breath, and check to see your apps if you can find a solution.
It's the Wikipedia for parking garages. Find parking where you're going by entering an address, and then the app will give you directions straight to the entrance! You can also plan ahead with this nifty app, and find out if they're cash only or accept credit cards.
This free parking app has real time parking information in participating locations, mostly big metropolitan cities where parking is usually an issue. There's also a nifty feature that utilizes your GPS: Simply point the map at your destination, press "ParkMe" and you'll be guided to the nearest parking garage.

Have a tough time remembering when to feed the meter? Parking Time lets you keep track of when the meter is about to expire, and lets you enter in an alert time to remind you to head back and add in a few more quarters.
If you're flying out soon and need to leave your car behind at the airport, use this app to find the best deal for long term parking.
