Free App Friday: Easter
Easter: A holiday filled with indulgent sweets, pastel colors, hopping mammals, and a plethora of free, gimmicky apps infiltrating the App Store. Fortunately, they're not all a sham, and some are worth the hassle of downloading and installing. Here are two free apps, and one nifty website that's worth a bookmark, for celebrating Easter.
Mac/Web

The International Egg Art Guild is filled to the brim with photos of beautiful crafted, um, egg art. While the website itself is a tad outdated, the photos showcase myriads of meticulously sculpted egg art, enough to maybe even inspire you to go beyond the simple annual tradition of coloring eggs with PAAS egg dye. Grab a glitter pen and a glue gen and get to work!
iPhone
This is a really fun idea: make a Easter Egg hunt with layers in Layar on your iPhone. Swap out points of interest in your own augmented reality with colorful easter eggs. Or, if you don't have a Layar developer account, use it to find a restaurant to eat at on this holiday. Perhaps somewhere that serves rabbit?
iPad
ScrapPad Easter Scrapbook
Taking photos with your new iPad 2 this Easter? Edit them -- or your existing iPad photo album -- with the Easter ScrapPad. Tack on stickers, backgrounds, patterns and text to your own photos and send them off to friends to wish them a Happy Easter. You can also print out your creations via AirPrint, provided you have a compatible printer.
