Tonight, I'm going to the movies. I'm going to go see 50/50 and I'm hoping that I get a few laughs out of it (and hey, maybe even shed a few tears considering the subject matter). And maybe you feel like going to the movies tonight with a friend or a significant other, or plopping yourself down on the couch with the cat to a rental. Whether you're into mainstream movies, B-movies, Bollywood, or Disney flicks, here's a few apps to help you catch the best of them.

Oh, you're one of those people, aren't ya? Oh, nothing wrong with that of course! Why, one of our most prolific freelancers used to produce B-movie horror flicks back in the day (we have the DVDs to prove it!). If you've been aching to get into the scene, B-movies offers a library of the Internet Archive's Moving Images, which features movies, films and videos of varying genres.

I've actually always had an interest in Bollywood. It all started when I first saw Bride and Prejudice, but then I never knew where to go from there. Well, fortunately (and here comes the cliche), there's an app for that. Bollywood Top Hits Free has a most trite sounding title, but it features the latest in Bollywood, plus a long list of must-see, popular Bollywood movies.

Disney has a free app for you Magic Kingdom fanatics to help you keep track of your favorite animated classics, stay tuned to upcoming ones, and purchase DVDs and Blu-Rays of those you might be missing from your library. The app features a very cool, "floaty boxes" interface and features extensive information on all of the latest Disney releases. It even gives you a glimpse into what Disney is releasing internationally.
