If you've been tracking the progress of Unpleasant Horse like I was, you know the strange and winding road this game has had. And while it took disgruntled employees, a brand new studio, and a rejection notice from Apple, Unpleasant Horse has finally hit the App Store. And it's, well, pleasant.
We'd been warned several times that Unpleasant Horse wouldn't have the "PopCap Polish" we expected from games like Plants vs. Zombies and Peggle, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it was perfectly polished, and fun.
Oh, that reminds us. Don't be deceived by this game's cutesy art-style. It is, in fact, a rather gory game in which you jump on unsuspecting Pritty Ponies™ and drive them into pits of blades, and watch as their blood and bones shoot skyward. Seriously.
The game is totally worth the download (it's free!) and you can win a pair of Joystick-its if you beat my high score! Which you won't, because my score is great. But here's a tip, always keep at least one feather in your inventory.
