Welcome to this week’s Game Time, where we’ll take a good hard look at everything the Universe has to offer, and what it means to be truly sentient. We always keep it interesting with iOS GAAAAAMETIME.
No, Humans
$1.99
vol-2
iPad or iPhone
In No, Humans you play the, er, universe as you destroy evil colonizing humans. In other words, it’s like Pocahontas in space. The gameplay is simple enough; all you have to do is flick asteroids in various directions to destroy space shuttles. Eventually, you’ll have to avoid magnetic planets, bounce from asteroid to asteroid and deal with complicated universe-type stuff.

Shoot that orange asteroid right into that human ship. That’s the ticket.
Though No, Humans is definitely on the easier side, there are 50 different levels of gameplay to occupy hardcore gamers. Plus, between missions, the game has surprisingly funny jokes. Definitely worth the scrilla.
Pizza Boy
$1.99
ACNE Play
iPhone
Thanks to the iPhone and iPad, Retro arcade-feeling games are totally in again. Pizza Boy is like the storyline of Mario meets the graphics of the Super Nintendo console system meets an almost too polished game, though you can definitely tell that there's room for improvement.

Hi, give us back that pizza, bird.
Pizza Boy has you playing the pixilated, chinstrap-donning pizza boy (who we really think is some dude that's too old to be living with his mom). Your job is to rush through levels, throw water bottles at bulldogs, collect strawberries and chase the mean bird who stole a pizza from Pizza Boy's girlfriend.
We City
Free
ngmoco
iPad and iPhone
If a game starts with the word “We” and is made by Ngmoco, expect it to follow the same formula, just with a different skin. We City is like We Farm, which is like We Rule, and they all have you feverishly chasing that hanging carrot. As for We City, the theme is (obviously) building a city, and since it’s still pretty new, it’s awfully glitchy. Even so, we can’t help but love the game through its faults.
It’s free, so give it a download if you’re down with the freemium games (free with purchase add-ons), or just want an amazingly addictive time sink.

We build this city. We built this city On. The. iPhoooooone.
That’s it for this week. If you’d like to see your favorite new game, feel free to sound off in the comments.
