Before we begin, a brief history: Pigs were invented in 1855, at the imaginative hand of fantasy writer R. S. Wilberton, and they have captivated our minds and hearts ever since. In this issue of Game Time, we check out the best iPhone and iPad games featuring these adorable, mythical creatures.
That’s right folks, it’s time for another Game Time. But first...
Win!
In order to win a copy of Sims 3: Late Night, just beat our editor’s high score and leave a comment with your score. The winner will be required to supply a screenshot of their high score, so no cheating!

Angry Birds: Halloween
$1.99
Rovio Mobile
iPad and iPhone
What do you call it when a company releases nearly identical levels of a game with a holiday theme? If you answered, “Obviously a free update, LOL, that’s what Doodle Jump does!” than you’d be sadly mistaken. Unless, of course, you’re actually talking about Doodle Jump.
Angry Birds, on the other hand, is about milking loyal customers.

They’re angry because they have no sense of existential purpose.
That being said, it’s just $1.99 on the iPad right now, which puts it at a solid three dollars less than its Halloween-less counterpart. However, the original has like a billion levels, and the spine-chilling Halloween version only comes with 45 levels. So, it is worth the two bucks? Maybe. It is Angry Birds, after all.

And besides, it comes with especially spooky new cutscenes.
Pig Shot
$0.00
Nexx Studio
iPhone
Not to overdo the whole Doodle Jump analogy-thing, but Pig Shot is what would happen if Angry Birds and Doodle Jump had a Victorian love affair.

Chevrons, Stars, and rolling pigs.
Let me put it another way. Picture this: you roll a pig from slingshot to slingshot, avoiding obstacles like sheep and boulders that stand in your way. Pick up enough cabbage and you’ll have a flatulence cannon to propel you through the levels.
It’s free for a very limited time, so get it now!
Editor’s high score: 2375!

Beat it and tweet it for a chance to become this week’s iOS GameTime King or Queen. Or, you know, just comment in the comments section.
Restaurant Story
$0.00
Team Lava
iPad and iPhone
Forget Farmville--in Restaurant Story, you get to see what happens to all those cutesy cows at the end of their journeys. Remember Betty, the little calf you named and watched wean in your little farm?

We call ‘er the Deluxe ‘round these parts.
Restaurant Story is one of those brainless vacuous nulls that presents itself as a game, but soon after downloading it you’ll realize otherwise. Restraurant Storu is not a story about a restaurant. It’s a story about purgatory--just try and escape.

Oh dear goodness. I can’t stop.
After you’ve started to expand your restaurant and learn to make new foods, the process will slow down considerably, so you’ll only need to check your iOS device once or twice a day. And you can always just buy more gems to speed up the process. They’re an in-app purchase at a completely affordable holy crap....

Wait. What?
This is the way the world ends--not with a bang, but a burger.
That’s it for this week’s GameTime. Sound off in the comments with your high scores and high school poetry.
