iOS Games Weekly Roundup: Angry Birds Update, Soul Calibur hits iOS, Jetskis

Over the last two weeks we've gotten wind of a bunch of high-quality console games coming to iOS. This week was fairly similar, with console-quality games stealing the show. Hardcore gamers will be giddy to know that the classic console fighting game SoulCalibur is coming to iOS. While more seasoned gamers might be more interested to know that the masters of pinball games (Farsight Studios) are bringing an anthology to iOS soon as well.
Angry Birds Seasons Halloween Update Arrives
We swore off reporting on Angry Birds for the last few months (one can only read a story about how many millions Angry Birds has sold so many times before it ceases to be interesting), but now we’re rejuvenated and happy to report that the big Halloween update has arrived. The big deal with this new content pack is that it’s not just about the new levels that have been introduced. Rovio is also introducing an all-new bird to slay pigs with. The imaginatively titled “Orange Bird” can inflate itself with a single touch in-flight.
Order and Chaos Online Gets Hacked
If you’re one of the many players of Gameloft’s Order and Chaos Online, you may want to consider changing your login information. Gameloft announced recently that some accounts have been hacked, and user data has been compromised. However, this only affected the web version of Gameloft Live (the service that ties together Gameloft games) which is about 1% of users. As such, Gameloft has opted to just shut down the service. The number of users affected so far has been small.
