AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!

No joke, that's actually the title of the game. Or to be technical it's AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! A Reckless Disregard for Gravity. This indie game was a hit on PCs and is now coming to iOS as well.

The game features players leaping from incredibly tall buildings, then navigating their fall and they swoop between buildings and other obstacles to collect points and items. The game was a hit on PCs, and we're hoping it'll be just as awesome on iOS. We're just not sure how this oddball game will be controlled with a touch screen.

Infinity Blade 2

The sequel to the undisputed iOS 2010 Game of the Year is coming soon, and we couldn't be more excited about it. The developer, Chair Entertainment, is finally showing the game off to the press, and we're hearing great things.

Let's just hope that with the concept now proven, Chair will be willing to invest even more in the game. The original suffered a bit from endlessly repeating environments (regardless of how compelling the excuse was).

For the sequel, Chair is promising more than just extra content though. They're also promising enhanced visuals (somehow) and some amazing dynamic environments that change every time you return to them. IB2 is coming on December 1, 2011.

Chrono Trigger

You didn't think we'd leave that with just a news post, did you? This is one of the most exciting games to come along so far this year, and we're super excited to get another chance to play this amazing gem.

Chrono Trigger is an RPG in the traditional sense (that means turn-based battles, but thankfully not random battles) and a focus on narrative. In this case the story is about a time traveling group that visits different eras of an alternate Earth. That means knights, dinosaurs, and robots all in the same game! Unfortunately, this is being released by Square Enix, which means they'll be charging 6-7 times more than most other iOS games. Expect this to cost in the $12-$17 range.
