Another week, another round of killer sales on awesome iPhone and iPad games and apps. We're so lucky!
The latest clever point-and-click adventure from Telltale Games just got an update, making some under-the-hood improvements but naturally keeping the clever story, head-scratching puzzles, wonderful art, and dry sense of humor. Plus, it's on sale! You can pick up the iPad or iPhone version of Puzzle Agent 2 for $2.99 through August 11, and if you want to catch up on the rest of Agent Tethers' adventure, the original Puzzle Agent is $0.99 for iPhone and iPad until August 11 too.
Any musician with an iPhone or iPod touch should consider picking up NanoStudio, which basically puts a recording studio in your pocket. We're talking synths, a sequencer, a sample editor, a mixer, and effects, plus you can upload to SoundCloud or use the MIDI export feature to get your ideas from your head to your iDevice to your Mac (or PC). It's usually $14.99 -- and a good deal at twice the price -- but to celebrate its birthday it's now only $10.99, a 25 percent drop. And don't worry that you'll be using some year-old version either; it was last updated May 31.
Would it be a weekend without a whole slew of EA Mobile games on sale? (Don't answer that; we like weekends.)
