What's the difference between -name and -iname?
Also, will this command work to search network drives that are formatted NTFS? I note that since Lion, Spotlight no longer searches these drives, which is a huge problem for me at my law office since all our documents are kept on a Windows Server.

-name is case-sensitive
-iname is not, which could make things a lot easier

If you don't remember the exact name of a file like YourName-Resume-2012.doc you could `find ~ -iname \*resume\*`

Thank you kindly for yet another useful post. If there are Emmy Awards for this kind of stuff (or whatever), you should easily win.
