Editor's Blog: Google Rules Susie's World
Posted 05/03/2007 at 12:00:00am | by Susie Ochs

I can't fight it anymore. I may as well admit that I'm the biggest Google fangirl (Googirl?) in the known universe. What can I say? I'm on the Internet pretty much all day at work, looking up prices, company URLs, how to spell "magnanimous." And I have to Google stuff. But of course, that's not where it ends. Not even close. As you'll soon see, Google has squirmed its googly way into my heart.

I should probably see a doctor.

Meanwhile, here are a bunch of ways I use Google products and services. And yeah, they're all free.

Thanks for the tip on iChat. I will disagree with the labels though. That is the one feature that pretty much annoys me. I want to be able to use folders so that I can create subfolders. With labels I have so many labels that it takes forever to sift through them. With google search built into my email why do I need labels to tag the messages further?

You read my mind Susie

I've just recently begun checking out all the sweet free google software.

Notebook is where it's at. So useful.

And Docs and Spreadsheets is amazing just because it can replace office for me.

Not too big on the google desktop, the paranoid guy in me starts imagining a google employee somewhere checkin out my files....

google earth is amazing. Google is the goods.

I got different results from the Web page than I did from the phone, and the Web results were better.
