Shortly after I upgraded to Leopard my command-N key quit working in every application. It took me some time to set up control-N as a replacement in all the apps I use most often. Each application has a different text for the command-N.

When I installed Snow, everything was working OK. Command-N was working. BUT, after just three days (first shutdown, startup), command-N quit working again. Now I will have to setup control-N all over again.

Is there a way to find out what is turning command-N off? I have been a Mac user since 1984 and I have never come across this before. I have searched every plist for an answer to no avail. Does anyone know what the numeric value is for the command-N key? This would help me find what preference file is screwing things up. I'm sure it must have been something I installed just after upgrading to Leopard.

Any help out there?

I clicked because the title evoked a "huh?". That's a nice list of irreverent, if juvenile, pseudo-stands.

I recommend adding a 4a; hospital bed stand (attached to the line for a suspended cast, maybe).

First: Can we block the a-holes who are sending spam? Good God.<br>Second: another iPad stand - That actually works? If you have a PowerMat, you can use the iPod dock and it works well. Balances just fine.

Mr. ipad's objections claims that because he doesn't find them funny, then they must be in poor taste. Well, I couldn't disagree more. There was nothing distasteful about any of them, including the sexy times iPad settee... That brought quite a chuckle from me.

For the record, I have been known to cue up the fireplace with crackling wood sound and put that on my night stand. I swear I could almost feel the heat radiating from the screen! :D

Unlike Mr. Ms. iPad that commented, I thought it was a riot. I had to 'click to embiggen' the first few pictures, not to see them more clearly, but just to satisfy my NEED to click to embiggen them.

Another reason to love Mac Life. Thanks.

Picture #1 - I saw this case on AMAZON and thought to myself, "Who would buy that thing? It's ugly!"  Now I know! lol  That picture was absolutely hilarious.

We just like to keep things fresh. And who wouldn't jump at the chance to get paid for writing such sparkling phrases as "sexy times iPad settee"? Happy Friday!
