So, it looks like Apple decided to play big kids and own up to the iPhone 4 reception issues after all. Free bumpers! Free cases! Other smartphones have the same problems! The iPhone 4 only drops marginally more calls than the previous model! Wait, run that last one by us again. And when you're done processing this particular bit of news, check out the other goings on around MacTown with the other big kids on the block, Mac|Life.
Features:
- Protect Your Mac from Phishing, Trojan Horses and Viruses - As Mac users, we can be pretty smug about the lack of hazards facing us from viruses and other threats. But that's no excuse for being lax in your security procedures . While PCs have it far, far worse, every security expert we talked to told us that as Mac's market share grows, so do the risks.
- No iPhone 4? FaceTime Alternatives for the Rest of Us - You have to admit, FaceTime is pretty sweet. But what if you're like some of us, still plodding along with our 3G and 3G S models? While these solutions aren't as elegant as iPhone 4's native application, you can still nab a little bit of video chatting with these free apps.

Reviews:
- DEVONthink Pro Office 2.0 Review - Metadata can almost make it seem like your computer software is thinking, making connections, organizing, collating, all behind your back. One of the cream of the crop of data organization software, DEVONthink comes in three different tiers of prices and features, and once you begin adding documents, the connections become clearer and clearer and more useful as well.
- Zinio Magazine Newsstand & Reader Review - Digital magazines and newspapers are where the future of periodical publishing is going, and if Zinio's attentiveness to detail and frequent updates to iron out problems, plus its stellar line up of titles, continues, this is how everyone will be reading the format in ten years time (or less).
How-Tos:

- How To Stream Pandora Music to Airport Express - While it's clearly awesome to be able to stream your Mac's music to your Airport Express, sometimes we just want to listen to Pandora radio and stream that. Well, listen up Mac|Life readers, because we've got some advice that'll be sweet, sweet music to your ears.
News:
Obviously, the big news this week was Steve-o coming up on stage and hoping to quash the iPhone 4 antenna story; we were there liveblogging away, not crashing the Wi-Fi like last time...and you can relive the glory of Steve with a tiny hint of egg on his face in the video now up...though he went out of his way to knock down this particular rumor via Bloomberg that he knew about the antenna issues all along...one of our favorite parts of this was the peek behind the scenes into the Stargate Room...if you like the short version of the story, we've got a distillation of our take-aways too...you know how we felt about it, but what about re-ax from around the interwebs? Most seem to think Apple did what they had to do...obviously now we'll all hold our breaths and see how this news plays out in these new international markets where the iPhone 4 is set to roll out...and one source tells reporters that a software update might just be the ticket to solve these problems after all (let's dream a bit)...and check out our 10 predictions for the press conference. Not too shabby, eh? Granted, there didn't seem like there was much Apple could do except what they did do, after all...and while the antenna story might be pretty bad, people in Redmond must be smoking something pretty crazy strong if they think this compares to the crash and burn that was Vista...and what about the Woz, speaking of crazy people, what's he got on the table for advice? Carry a second, Verizon phone on you at all times? Uh, yeah, let's not do that, ya nut...and did you find yourself anywhere on this flowchart, because we certainly found a few of our acquaintances matched up perfectly...
In other parts of the crazy world, it appears that iPad sales are still going crazy strong gangbusters holy moley wowza, so that'll take the sting out of iPhone 4 woes for the stockholders...also cuckoo? Bing on your iPad, but choice is good, even if it's a MS product, right, kiddies?...and as long as Apple was pushing out a bar indicator fix for your iPhone, they figured they might as well make with the iPad OS lovin, too...and if we're loving anything ourselves to crazy death, it's all the great games that just keep popping up for your iOS devices...because according to this report, at least a quarter of iPad users are out there gaming their Apple lovin hearts out right this very second...now some of this gaming might run into serious money, but if you want to keep track of your dead presidents, PocketMoney isn't a bad way of going about it...you can also keep track of how your stock portfolio's doing with StockWatch for the iPad, just in case, you know, you need to divest yourself a bit to keep up with your gaming habits...and you'll need something to make sure you don't go over budget with mSpot's movie rental for iDevices for those of us who find Netflix too much of a commitment...and great movies might just find themselves on more than one different size of iPad screen, if the rumor mill is right (doubtful)...and at least one iPad user is sure to be maxing out more productivity-related features, and that's none other than Mr. Bloomberg himself, mayor of New York City.
