Friends, Tags and Connections
The next privacy settings extend the Personal Information section and also covers data that your friends might post which include you, such as photo tags.

“Friends” controls how your friends list is displayed to others; if you leave this at the default “Everyone,” then anyone can comb your list of friends in search of others they might know, or want to know. “Family” shares your connections with relatives, which is probably best shared only with friends in most cases. Ditto for “Relationships,” which shares details on your spouse or children, including anniversaries.
“Photos and Videos of Me” gives you control over how your friends can share this data with others. While they are free to tag you in a photo or video, if you have this option set for “Only Friends,” then outsiders won’t be able to see the photo, regardless of which privacy setting your friend has selected.
“Current City” and “Hometown” allow you to control display of where you’re from and what city you currently reside, while “Education and Work” does the same for your school years. These are good options to leave available to Everyone, since it will help old school chums track you down based on where & when you went to school and where you grew up at the time.
The last three choices -- “Activities,” “Interests” and “Things I Like”--are more personal and probably best shared only with friends, since they define how (and possibly with whom) you spend your time. Of course, you’re also free to leave such sections blank, in which case it won’t matter what privacy settings you select here.
