Did you hear? The Inauguration is today. While it would be great if everyone who wanted to see the event could stay home with a box of popcorn and some sort of celebratory beverage, we all have to do what Americans do best, work.

Quick Tip:

If your boss would rather you work instead of taking part in American history, here's a quick tip to help you keep your job. With Spaces, you can have your work and your live feed of choice in two different spaces.

Open the System Preferences.

Click on Exposé and Spaces

Click on the Spaces tab

Check Enable Spaces

Keep your work and your live feed of choice in two separate Spaces. You can use Ctrl-Arrow key to switch between Spaces quickly or Cmd-Number keys to go directly to a Space.

If you believe your boss is lingering about, quickly switch to your work space and continue to keep your job.

Disclaimer: If you're supposed to be working and you get caught, don't blame us. It's not our fault if you get canned. Use good judgment people.

Happy inauguration day everyone.
