It's a holiday weekend, which means half of you are being pried off your computers and iOS devices with crowbars right now and you're unable to feel the sweet salving goodness of the Mac|Life crew in any way, shape, or form. Which is totally a shame, because this week was rockin. Things were popping in the iOS world this week and because you were too busy getting the last of your paperwork processed it, you had to miss it. And that's why we have this here little column, but what can we do in case you miss In Case You Missed It?
Features:
- How to Secure and Remove Your iOS 4 Tracking Data - It was probably one of the biggest stories of the week, just after the release of Portal 2. Apparently, all on the sly-like, your iPhone has been tracking your movements for the last year. Every car ride, every jog, every trip to places maybe you don't want people knowing you've been going. It's claimed that Apple has no access to this data and it's guessed that it might be preparatory for an upcoming service, but still, there's something a little creepy about that much personal information in one place. Wanna secure it and/or remove it? You've come to the right place.

- 10 iPad Apps to Enhance Your Mac Workflow - Stop! You! Yes, you! iPad owner. What are you doing with that tablet? Are you just sitting around using it as some kind of small screen lap television or just a big iPod touch for gaming? What the heck? Don't you know we've entered a post-PC world? And while we're transitioning, you could be busting some serious moves with a little app to Mac workflow loving, and we've got just the tips to turn your iPad into a workhorse.
How-Tos:
- Portal 2: Walkthroughs For the 10 Hardest Levels - And maybe you don't wanna know, maybe you don't want our advice, but we'd be remiss if we didn't offer at least a little help. The other big story, as we said, was Portal 2, and we've got some walkthrough help that can get you through the 10 hardest levels. What are friends for, after all? Remember though, it's spoiler city from here on out.

- How to Sync Google Calender to iCal - You got your Google in my iOS! You got your iOS in my Google! Oh, can these two ever just play nice? Well, yes, actually. Sometimes you just want the flexibility and ubiquity of Google's Calendar, but you want it on your iPhone or iPad and ready to rock with you wherever you go. If we can't get these two to play nice, then no one can, and here's how it is done.
Reviews:
- Portal 2 Review - We did mention that Portal 2 was released this week, right? You didn't think we'd let the grass grow under our feet while we kicked back and just *played* the thing, did you? Heck, no. We're taking notes, making comparisons, giving you the skinny, the lowdown, the scoop. And here's how we roll.

- Egg Dyeing 101 from Martha Stewart Living Review - Let's pry your eyes away from the monitor for just one second to remind you that there are other things going on than Portal 2. Yes, yes, we know, no one wants to listen to that. It's Easter weekend, for crying out loud. Family dinners, egg hunts, all that jazz, and what's an egg hunt or an Easter party without some fancy decorated eggs? Exactly our point. You're not just going to sit there and wait for a crappy little tablet to dissolve in a cup of vinegar are you? We've got way more fancy tips than that, and best of all, it's straight from Martha Stewart's lips to your iPhone.
News:
Well, apart from Portal 2 and some huge sniffing around your personal life by your iPhone, what else has been going on? So of course, tip numero uno with a bullet would have to our sweet little joint venture with Tap! and TechRadar to bring you the sweetness that is our iPad 2 app...and in a fit of timeliness from the Angry Birds crew there just happens to be a nice little seasonal update to their Seasons version...there's updates and then there's releases and while we still love our consoles, it's clear where the momentum is heading and EA Sports has just ported Fight Night Champion over for iOS and it's a beaut and we got our hands on it for some pummeling action...so if you're a sporting type, and we're betting that you are, you might just want a taste of a couple apps that are all about fixing your golf swing to be like the pros...and a game we can't wait, just based on its name alone? Yeah, that'd be Laser Dolphin, in which you do exactly what it sounds like you do, oh yeah...and if you've ever run into one of those apps that tries to get you to download other apps, those days are quickly coming to a close as Apple has slammed the doors shut on that business...and if you want to jump on some good app deals, may we recommend EA's latest 99-cent sale? because it's too hot to be true...and if you miss the sale and you're thinking, you know, I'd like that game but the pricetag is too much, then you're in luck, because we've been looking into the cheaper versions of apps you know and love...and what did all these apps pick up in terms of change for Cupertino? Well, it turns out something like $1.4 Billion total for iTunes, and we're guessing the App Store can hog a bit of that glory...and if gaming's not your cup of tea, well it's not all sports and games; Sony decided to try for a little love with Crackle, a free app with free streaming full movies and shows and you could waste a lot of time here...
