Well, it was tons of WWDC news this week. Pretty much iOS 5 and OS X Lion and iCloud were about the only tech headlines anyone noticed. There were a few other things that we took note of, amidst the shuffle, though we must admit, we're pretty stoked about both new operating systems ourselves. But, just in case you missed it, here's a couple treats we couldn't just let pass by without a second look.
Features:
- iCloud: How Does It Stack Up Against the Competition? - While we haven't gotten a hands-on to give you the full details, what we can give you is a comparison of what Apple promises against what the other guys have on offer. Will iCloud make them tremble in their boots? Well, sorta but not. Sure, there's some sweetness to the features, but there are plenty of free options to stream your music too, which is the real draw.

- Getting Started with Music Beta by Google - Speaking of those cloud competitors, you're probably asking just what's the story with Music Beta from Google? How does it work? How well does it work? And are there any snags? Well, you've come to the right place.
How-Tos:
- 5 Cydia Apps to Replace iOS 5 - Maybe you've been feeling left out with your iPhone 3G ever since you got cut loose (pretty much) with iOS 4. Well, iOS 5 isn't even going to give you a friendly nod and a wink, but maybe you're lusting for some of these features without the hardware (or the moolah) to make it happen. You might just be in jailbreak luck with these five apps from Cydia that can make you fall in love with your iPhone all over again.

- 5 Great New Features in iTunes 10.3 - Here's another five to get you excited for the updates coming down the pike: five new features Apple's rolled out in iTunes 10.3. How's that automatic download feature working out for you? We're liking it just fine ourselves, though we wish it wasn't an all or nothing proposition.
Reviews:
- App Showdown: Jailbreak Edition -- Lock Screen Apps - Of the 5 Cydia apps that give your old iPhone iOS 5 power right out the gate, Lock Screen and Intelliscreen might just be two of our favorite kickstarters. But which is the best and will either survive the Cupertino Crusher? We think both will do just fine.

- 2.7GHz Core i5 iMac Review - We find these new hardware reviews hard reading, not because they're not interesting, but because halfway through we realize we're already reaching for our wallets just to slake our gadget and tech lust. It's no joke, Apple makes a beautiful products and they are seriously desirable. And the newest i5 iMac's are splenderific.
