FileMaker Offers Leopard Compatibility Update
Posted 11/01/2007 at 2:20:41pm | by Mac|Life Staff

FileMaker today released the 9.0v2 update for FileMaker Pro 9 and FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced. The update fixes a problem that appears when used with the Leopard Mac OS. FileMaker would crash when the system language and the region did not match. The update fixes this.

The update also addresses other issues. A complete list of fixes can be downloaded from FileMaker.

The update does not fix the problems FileMaker has with Leopard users trying to use FileMaker's Instant Web Publishing (IWP). In a statement sent to Mac|Life, the company intends, "to make IWP compatible with Leopard in an update expected in December 2007."
