Have you never seen any Apple products? Did you really just say that iCloud can't equal Dropbox? Ha. That's what people said about Apple and Microsoft not too long ago.

Does anyone really think Dropbox will be killed because of iCloud? Impossible. It is too good and can share many file types that iCloud cannot.

Can't say much of this worries or affects me. I do love Dropbox, it is all iDisk never was and as clasqm said, syncing between mac and windows is brilliant, I won't be leaving Dropbox in a hurry.

I shall be glad to see an alternative to Zinio, they were a pain in the bum to me.

The only way I can use my blackberry as a data modem with my iPad is to jailbreak it. Hope this "feature" is in iOS5.

This is the biggest difference between Apple and Microsoft.... If Microsoft was this aggressive about building 3rd party tools into the OS, they'd be in court till Rapture.

DropBox will survive for the simple reason that it does not rely on Apple for its existence. With DB I can get hold of my files on the Windows and Linux boxes I also have to live with. And not just iWork files - anything at all. You can actually use DB to run a small website: just place the HTML files in their own folder within /Public.

BTW is IWork.com now officially dead?

For the messaging apps, Apple has also killed Textfree (except for calling on iPad and iPod Touch).
