10 Things We Want from iCloud

All together now, mimicking Steve Martin in The Jerk: “The new iCloud is here! The new iCloud is here!” -- or at least it will be soon, according to a press release from Apple themselves on Tuesday. But do we know what exactly it will entail?
On Tuesday, Apple proved they’re as equally adept at playful teasing as they are with their usual stone-faced silence by confirming that yes, Virginia, there is indeed something called “iCloud” coming, and it will presumably be a big part of both Mac OS X 10.7 Lion as well as iOS 5. All three will be previewed by CEO Steve Jobs and a fleet of Apple executives at this year’s WWDC keynote, which kicks off Monday, June 6 at 10am PST.
So what exactly is iCloud? All that Apple has told us is that it’s the company’s “upcoming cloud services offering,” but does that mean a replacement for the existing MobileMe, something else entirely or even a hybrid of both? Sadly, we don’t have the answers to these questions, but we can prognosticate with the best of them. Here’s a list of 10 things we’d like to see from iCloud when Apple takes the wraps off the service on Monday.

as a business user i prefer iDisk over drop-box ANYDAY. as it gets the job done of getting my files to where they need to go. as for iGallery i use it very affectively for VIDEO'S! compared to youtube or vimeo it really does the job.
