As any Apple fan knows, the company likes to offer one last morsel at most of its media events, usually introduced with CEO Steve Jobs announcing there’s “one more thing.” We’re fully expecting that the tradition will continue with Monday’s keynote to kick off WWDC 2011 -- so here are a few likely candidates.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ keynote closer “one more thing” has been such a popular staple of the company’s media events, there’s even a whole section devoted to it on Wikipedia’s Apple Special Events page. Among the products Jobs has introduced to the world in this fashion are the AirPort Base Station in 1999, the PowerMac G5 in 2003, a refreshed MacBook Air in 2010 and a record three “things” in September, 2006 -- first with the introduction of movies on the iTunes Store, then a preview of iTV (which became Apple TV when it was released a few months later), followed by a John Mayer live performance before he sold his soul to the BlackBerry.
With the annual Worldwide Developer Conference kicking off in San Francisco on Monday, June 6 at 10am PST, we’ve scoured the internet and put on our thinking caps to come up with the five most likely candidates for this year’s “one more thing.” See anything you like?
