Next time you're moving through New York City’s Grand Central Station, be sure to shop for an iPod while you are waiting for your train. The Apple Store Grand Central opens Friday, December 9, just in time for the holidays.
This store makes 361 Apple retail stores in eleven countries, including five in Manhattan alone. Apple Store Grand Central, truly a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, is staffed with 315 employees, overlooks the historic Main Concourse from the East and North East balconies of the world-famous Grand Central Terminal, and has two Genius Bars for free tech support and advice.

In face, we think Apple is, once again, on the cutting-edge of a new retail trend: placing stores right inside global landmarks. So let’s take a look at some other high-traffic landmarks where we'd see an Apple Store.
