After Adobe ditched GoLive as their primary web development software in 2008, Dreamweaver has settled nicely into the rest of the Creative Suite. With CS5.5, Adobe brings the industry-leading web authoring and editing software another leap forward with enhanced support for CSS3, HTML5 and much more.
While HTML web page design was never exactly easy, new standards such as CSS3 and HTML5 have made creating sites more complicated than ever. Thankfully, Adobe continues its long tradition of attempting to make life easier for web developers with this year’s Dreamweaver CS5.5, which goes beyond just focusing on desktop web browsers by adding deeper integration with smartphones, tablets and other devices.
