LEGO has made a fortune in recent years by pairing its plastic blocks with popular media franchises for accessible action games, and LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars ($29.99) is arguably the apex of that winning formula. Pairing characters and settings from The Clone Wars cartoon with building, battling, and vehicle segments, it's an accessible pick for Star Wars fans of all ages.

Cave Story built a huge fan base as a free indie platform game inspired by old-school favorites, and now it's available in a remastered premium version as Cave Story+ ($9.99). The side-scrolling adventure looks and plays like a lost relic from the early 90s, but the game does its classic inspirations proud with challenging action and an intriguing campaign.

It took six years for Psychonauts ($9.99) to reach the Mac, but this cult favorite remains hilariously charming. Set at a summer camp for budding psychic agents, the action-platform game follows young Raz as he tries to learn skills while also entering twisted minds and finding the stolen brains of his bunkmates. It's weird and a little dated, but still delightfully entertaining.

If ever you want to get down and dirty without leaving the comfort of your home, Colin McRae: DiRT 2 ($39.99) has you covered. This off-road racer includes a massive heap of content, including a career mode with a variety of vehicle types, along with 100+ events, online multiplayer, and the ability to rewind time to recover from crashes. It's also wickedly pretty, to boot.
