CES 2012: ioSafe Shows off New Thunderbolt Hard Drive by Zapping It with Electricity

Great job Iosafe, you figured out how to make a faraday cage for a hard drive. Now I don't have to worry about my hard drive mounted hundreds of feet above my house on a giant metal pole that gets struck by lighting every 2 hours.

Does it look cool, yes. Important, no. I thought their video where they set it on fire, poured water on it, smashed it, then pulled the drive out of the corpse of the case to find it working was much more impressive and applicable.

This is so cool. I wish I was there to see this happen.
