It's simple, it's fun, and it allows you to shoot baddies in space with the help of the Green Lantern ring as well as wallop your enemies with nifty combos.

Thumbs Down: Rango - The Game

Despite decent graphics and sound, this universal app feels like the same racing/obstacle course level over and over again with none of the charm, intelligence and charisma of the movie.

Thumbs up: Monkey vs. Chow HD

It's weird -- it feels like a neat combination of the arcade classic Kung Fu and Super Mario Bros., and the energetic voice acting helps. Add in the fact that it's free and this Hangover 2 tie-in is a good way to waste 10 minutes on your iPad.

It may not be for everyone, but a small array of puzzles, poor controls, repetitive music and constant in-app ads make you wish you could get any time you spent with this universal app back.

This advertising-laden universal app incorporates augmented reality with tons of Coke bottles, terrible controls, and ever more advertising. It may be free but it's still not worth it.

A quick, simple, easy, fun platform jumping game with good controls, this is worth its $0.99 price tag. It's just a cool way to waste five minutes on your iPhone.

Thumbs up: Sucker Punch Mech Gunner

This iPad game is simple, it's easy to learn, it involves giant mech robots, and these are good things. Quick, fun and easy, this was a cool find.
