My first was #1, in the 20 GB model. It's the first thing I got a job and saved my money for. I still have it!

My first iPod was a great, green iPod Mini. Epic.

Why no Beatles special edition iPod with the whole collection pre-installed?

My first was number 2 (3rd Gen /20GB / Firewire only) on the slideshow. I bought it at the PX in Wisconsin as I was getting ready to deploy Iraq in 2004. I was amazed by it. Although a little worn, it still works ! Its neglected, but I replaced the battery last year and has since been a lot better.

This device has been to many countries and almost every state in the US. Firewire only charging is annoying, but it still performs pretty damn well!

Since then, I have had an 2nd Gen iPod shuffle, IPHONE3G, IPHONE4, IPOD Touch 4th GEN along with fully Apple transition for computing.

Surprisingly enough, my first iPod was a 32 GB third Gen Touch. I later followed it up with an iPhone 4 (if that counts-it's has an "iPod" in it)

Your picture of the 4th Gen iPod looks amazingly like my 3rd Gen iPod Photo (at least that is how it was being advertised at the time). I bought mine on sale right after Apple released the 4th Gen iPod Video and it is still going strong today. The battery hasn't degraded and still maintains a good, long charge.

Love your magazine. Keep up the good work.

OK, I've had the: 1st gen., (bought stock in Apple around then, for $11/share, boy am I glad I did!) 3rd gen., 4th gen., Video, iPod Touch 1st & 3rd gen. Now I also have the iPhone 4 along with my trusty Touch, still have my 80GB Video, too. Yep, I drank the Kool-Aid. {:)

1st iPod - Blue 4GB 2nd Gen iPod Nano - still have it, just a few dead pixels
2nd iPod - Blue 16GB 4th Gen iPod Nano - main ipod, sort of
3rd iPod - 64GB 4th Gen iPod Touch - use it as much as my Nano
Next iPod - iPhone 4S - I know it doesn't count as an iPod, but it has iPod functions

3rd Gen iPod. I keep in the glove box of my car for old-school iPod dance parties.
