Create an Account
Once you create your Photovine account, you'll be guided through a few simple steps to get you up and running--or swinging from those photo vines.

Find Your Friends
Photovine is well connected, with simple, push-button tools to find your friends on Facebook, Twitter, and within your Contacts. Photovine is pretty new, however, so your friends probably aren't using it yet. Be the first, and pimp your Photovine usage on Facebook and Twitter to get friends to join.

Find a Vine
To grow your Photovine presence, add some photos to existing Vines. Tap on Vines at the bottom, and select whether you want to view new photos, popular ones or friends you're keeping tabs on.

Or, you can choose a group, then scroll through and find a Vine that interests you. Then, scan the last few images added, and see if you've got something you can add to it.

Add Your Pic
Take a photo, add a caption, and then decide if it's worth sharing on Facebook or Twitter. Once you tap Post, your photo becomes a part of a Vine.

Socially Active
Like Instagram, if you cross post your photos the link at Photovine will invite your friends to come and join the party.

Follow, Comment, and Like
Photovine also lets you find other pictures that you like and follow the users that submitted them. And like other social networks, you can "like" specific images.

When you tap Activity on the bottom left-hand side of the screen, you'll see a stream of what you and the users you've following have posted.

Community Guidelines
Photovine asks users to adhere to a simple set of Community Guidelines. Basically, you are asked to contribute and be active, to post your own, original content, and to protect your privacy. Remember, any image you add to a Vine is available for the world to see. The main rule is to basically stay out of trouble. Oh, and no nudity.

Download Photovine
Photovine, owned by Google, is only available for iOS devices as a free download from the iTunes App Store. As aforementioned, although it has Facebook and Twitter integration, it does not work with Google+--go figure. There are no ads or fees to use the service, and the app is free to download.
