Nic and Ray embarked on a sort of scientific head-to-head test of the Verizon and AT&T networks.
They traveled to San Francisco's finest landmarks to see which network would prevail in a voice and data battle to the death.
How we conducted our test: We attempted to grab screenshots of the iPhones' bars at the same time. We ran three data-speed tests on each phone at the same time and averaged out the results. The speed-test images below are the best speeds for each iPhone 4 in a selected area.
Our tests concluded that while AT&T has a faster network, the Verizon iPhone dropped fewer calls.
These tests were done in San Francisco. Your network and data coverage may vary depending on your location. We recommend getting the iPhone on the network with the best coverage in your area.

Thats funny because when my cousin calls on her verizon phone all the time it drops calls every time she calls me. And she can here me perfectly. She is switching back to AT&T, she is tired of the hidden charges they have also with her family plan.
Atleast AT&T works with you and does not think of an excuse for thier mistakes.

Here five minutes from New Haven, CT I get 5.53Mbps Down and .9 up.

Wow, those speeds are ridiculous!!! I use my jailbroken iPhone 4 with MyWi in the South Bend, IN area and tether it to my MBP. I never get less than 2.9 MBps Down and 1.5 MBps Up. Of course if I go more than ten miles in any direction I only get Edge which is worthless.

Wow! After seeing the speed tests in the Bay Area, I realize that the AT&T network in my area is far better than I thought. Here in central Washington I get 2 mbps downs and 1.5 mbps ups. No reason to switch to Verizon for me.

Well, it doesn't take much to best service in that area. Thanks to ATT doing some upgrading in my area, I FINALLY get decent/reliable data, even in the house.

THEY BOTH SUCK!
I cant believe we have much better service from telcel in mexico
