In 1984 I purchased the Millennium wristwatch from Alfred J. Dunhill, which sadly they no longer make. I have worn it every day of my life since. I was attracted to it both for its simple and elegant design, as well as its superb features, which included -- wait for it -- a crystal made of sapphire glass! Well, after 10,950 days of constant use I can report that the crystal is as perfect as the day I bought the watch. Not a single chip, scratch or blemish of any kind. Based on my normal use profile, it would not be an exaggeration to expect a crystal that one now would barely be able to see through.

I look forward to the iPhone6!
