Concerti for iPad mini Review

Moshi is known for simple, minimal designs, and the Concerti for iPad mini is no exception. It's covered in a gray suede-like fabric, and stays closed via an elastic band attached to the cover. And speaking of the cover, keep in mind that the Concerti is built "upside-down." To avoid needing a hole in the back cover for the iPad mini's rear camera, Concerti opens left-to-right, allowing the cover to fold out of the camera's way. It's a design choice that maintains the product's sleek lines, but even after extended usage, we still kept opening the Concerti the wrong way. Thankfully, the iPad's auto-rotation means that doesn't really matter most of the time.

The bottom line. Moshi's modernist design will appeal to fans of fancy paper notebooks, but the "upside down" opening takes some time to get used to.

Classy, minimalist design. Solid construction. Doubles as a stand.

Unconventional left-to-right opening takes some getting used to. Heavy.
