Mail AppleScripts

Look at that email! Isn't that crazy? (Gimme some candy!)
10. Crazy Message Text
This script is a little trivial, but fun nonetheless. When you run Crazy Message Text, a dialog asks you to type or paste in text to create your “crazy” mail message with. After you enter your text and hit OK, a Mail message is created, your text is pasted, and each letter is made a different size, font and color. You can set a few preferences from within the dialog before you send the string along to Mail. (Your emails will look like ransom notes—neat!)

Hey, that says "Miami Arena," not "Miami Area." Still, handy to send emails away from a desktop or online client.
11. Create New Message
We find Create New Message useful when browsing the Web or RSS feeds—it lets you quickly throw together a Mail message right from whatever application you’re in. A small dialog asks whom you’re sending the message to, their address, the subject, content, signature, and your “from” address. After you click OK, Mail opens and you can send your message.
12. Count Messages In All Mailboxes
This script is helpful when you have a large folder hierarchy in Mail.app. Count Messages In All Mailboxes will create a new Mail message with a summary of message counts in all of your mailboxes. You can see at a glance all of the unread/read messages you have in each of your folders, as well as a summary of all the messages currently in each of your accounts.
