About how long does it take to purchase/ upload a book, say any 400 page novel, using the wi-fi iPad?

if I make videos that can play with the iPhone/iPod, will I need to convert those videos to a larger size for the iPad or will the iPhone/iPod videos play on the iPad?

There's gotta be a way to get back to your place (say app#34) AFTER you install one, rather than getting sent back to top of list and having to "More" back down the list?

Has anyone tried to browse the iBook store? It is maddening. There seems to be no way to get beyond "featured" and search the full collection. Categories/home see all gets you right back to featured.. The choices at the bottom are featured/NY times, etc. Are there really only a couple hundred books in the store?

You can view what the iBook Store has to offer by clicking on the 'Categories' button located to the top left of the Featured page.  It's right next to the "Library' button.

I think there ARE more books in the catalog because a 'search' turns up titles I didn't see in all the featured/new release/top 20 lists.  But I can't for the life of me figure out how to just browse the catalog of books.  Doesn't seem to be any way to do it.I'm also struggling with how to browse through iPad apps on my desktop iTunes.  There's no way to filter by category or browse except through the featured/top picks! Even looking for iPhone apps, there is no category view on my desktop iTunes app.  It seems to be a little better browsing on the iPad but I still feel like there may be more apps available that I can't see!

The voltage is still the same as other Macintosh products (100V-240V) but the WATTAGE (10W) is different; my MacBook Pro is 60w, as is my wife's MacBook.

Thanks for pointing that out.

"Modern Family" rightly mocked "early adopters" with the Phil character. Only suckers buy version 1.0 of anything.

With that said, this same comment is applicable to anything Microsoft puts out as well, or any other product -- not just the iPad / Apple products.  Cackle away.

I'm usually in agreement with that statement. But mock away... I'm too busy watching Netflix & playing Mirror's Edge to notice.
