Stanza Desktop (free download)
Stanza Desktop is a featured packed e-book reader for the Mac and PC. There’s also an iPhone version (compatible with the iPad) that allows you to read and store ebooks. Stanza Desktop will import many file formats, including MS LIT, Mobipocket, Kindle, RTF, PDF, and MS Word.
As with Calibre, metadata could be missing from your e-book. Select View > Book Info (or press Command + I) to edit the data.
Once you’ve entered the appropriate details for your ebook, select File > Export Book As > ePub. A standard save dialog will popup asking for a save location. We’ll temporarily save it on our desktop so we can import into iTunes.
You can now drag and drop the ePub into iTunes, and right-click to retrieve the book's cover art.
