DropDAV is a $5 per month service that allows you to access your Dropbox account through the WebDAV standard that Apple uses in iWork for iPad applications; other applications can also take advantage of this connection method. WebDAV is similar to MobileMe's iDisk, and will work with many different iOS and Mac applications. And this particular app can help you easily access your Dropbox files in iWork so that you can edit documents on the go from your iPhone or iPad.

DropDAV translates your Dropbox account into the WebDAV file transfer standard.
To begin, sign up for a DropDAV account. There is a 14-day free trial of the service that will let you try it out to see if it’s something you’d be willing to drop $5/month on. Sign up is easy on the DropDAV.com website.
Click allow to continue linking your accounts.
After sign up, you will be taken to Dropbox where your DropDAV and Dropbox accounts will be linked together. Linking your account lets DropDAV access your files in order to deliver them through the WebDAV service.

After linking your account, DropDAV will present you with login details for signing into your new WebDAV account. The important bits that you will need to copy down for future reference are: Server address, username, and password.
To set up WebDAV in iWork for iOS, first launch one of the iWork apps -- we’ll launch Pages, but the process is the same for any of the apps. After launching the application, tap on the small plus sign in the upper, left-hand corner. In the pop up window, select “WebDAV.”
Place your DropDAV credentials into the appropriate fields.
Pages will present you with a place to fill in your WebDAV login information. Put in the server address, user name, and password that DropDAV gave you after sign up. When you have finished, tap on the Sign In button.
DropDAV will load your files and present them to you.
After entering your information and signing into DropDAV, you will be presented with your files. From here, you will be able to download and upload files to your Dropbox for storage off of your iOS device.
