DropDAV is a no-brainer for iPad owners looking to get work done. For $5 a month, this service enables you to access your Dropbox account through the WebDAV standard that Apple uses in iWork for iPad applications. That means you can upload those documents right to your Dropbox. But that’s not all -- other applications, like OmniFocus, can also take advantage of this connection method.
1. Sign Up and Link Your Dropbox Account

Click Allow to continue linking your accounts.
To begin, sign up for a DropDAV account at DropDAV.com. If you’re unsure if the service will be worth the money, there’s a 14-day free trial for you to put it through its paces.
Next, you will be taken to Dropbox where your DropDAV and Dropbox accounts will be linked together. Linking lets DropDAV access your files in order to deliver them through the WebDAV service. DropDAV will present you with login details for signing in to your new WebDAV account. The important bits that you will need to copy down for future reference are server address, user name, and password.
2. Connect in iWork for iOS

Linking your iWork account to your new WebDAV account is a cinch.
To set up WebDAV in iWork for iOS, first launch one of the iWork apps -- we’ll launch Pages, but the process is the same for any of the apps. After launching the application, tap on the small plus sign in the upper-left corner. In the pop-up window, select WebDAV.
Pages will present you with a place to fill in your WebDAV login information. Put in the server address, user name, and password that DropDAV gave you when you signed up. Then tap the Sign In button.
After entering your information and signing in to DropDAV, you’ll be presented with your files. From here, you’ll be able to download and upload files to your Dropbox for storage off your iOS device.
